ServicesLeadership Coaching

Leadership Coaching That Creates Momentum

An experienced outside perspective — focused entirely on you and your mission.

You don't have to figure it out alone.

Nonprofit leaders carry an unusual weight. You're responsible for the mission, the team, the donors, and the board — often without a peer who truly understands the complexity of your role. Vedco's leadership coaching gives you a trusted, experienced partner who has been in the work, understands the pressures you face, and can help you lead with greater clarity, confidence, and impact.

This isn't generic executive coaching repackaged for nonprofits. It's coaching built specifically for the people who lead mission-driven organizations — and the unique challenges that come with that work.

Who It's For

Nonprofit CEOs & Executive Directors

Leading through growth, transition, or complexity — and needing a trusted thought partner who understands the full scope of the role.

Development Directors & Campaign Leaders

Responsible for fundraising results and needing strategic support, accountability, and a sounding board for major decisions.

Emerging Nonprofit Leaders

Moving into greater responsibility and wanting to build the skills, habits, and confidence to lead well from the start.

Board Chairs

Navigating the executive-board relationship and wanting to lead a more engaged, aligned, and effective board.

The Value of an Outside Perspective

Sometimes the clearest view comes from outside the building.

When you're inside an organization, it's hard to see what's holding you back. An experienced outside perspective — someone who isn't part of the politics, the history, or the day-to-day — can help you see your situation more clearly, ask the questions no one else is asking, and help you make decisions with greater confidence.

Vernon Delpesce brings decades of experience working alongside nonprofit leaders, boards, and development teams. He's not a theorist. He's been in the work — and he brings that experience directly into every coaching engagement.

What We Work On

Coaching that covers the full scope of nonprofit leadership.

Leadership Priorities

Clarifying what matters most, where to focus your energy, and how to lead with intention rather than reaction.

Fundraising Strategy

Building a fundraising approach that's sustainable, donor-centered, and aligned with your organization's capacity and goals.

Board Engagement

Strengthening the executive-board relationship, improving board participation, and building a governance culture that supports the mission.

Donor Development

Cultivating major donor relationships, building a culture of generosity, and moving donors from transactional to transformational giving.

Staff & Volunteer Leadership

Leading teams well — hiring, developing, delegating, and building a culture where people do their best work.

Decision-Making & Accountability

Making better decisions under pressure, following through on commitments, and building the habits that sustain long-term effectiveness.

How Coaching Works

Structured, practical, and built around your goals.

Coaching sessions are held weekly or twice monthly — virtually or in person — and are designed to be immediately useful. Every session has a focus, and every engagement is built around clear goals and measurable progress.

01

Goal Setting

We begin by identifying your most important leadership goals — what you want to accomplish, what's getting in the way, and how we'll measure progress.

02

Focused Sessions

Weekly or twice-monthly sessions — virtual or in person — focused on your current priorities, challenges, and decisions.

03

Practical Assignments

Between sessions, you'll work on specific actions, experiments, or reflections designed to move you forward between conversations.

04

Material Review

When helpful, we review plans, proposals, board materials, donor communications, or other documents together — with honest, practical feedback.

05

Follow-Through

Accountability is built into every engagement. We track commitments, celebrate progress, and adjust the plan when life gets in the way.
